Perth and Kinross Health and Social Care Partnership Awarded Gold Level One Digital Telecare Implementation Award

Award. Digital Telecare. 23.01.2024

Digital Telecare for Scottish Local Government is delighted to confirm that Perth and Kinross Health and Social Care Partnership has been awarded the Gold One Digital Telecare Implementation Award in recognition of the progress they have made on their analogue to digital transition.

To achieve Gold Level One status, a Telecare Service Provider will have rolled out a live digital telecare service to 20% of service users and have it operating successfully.

Perth and Kinross Community Alarm Service has embraced the challenges in their transition to digital alarm receiving service. This has been achieved alongside a physical move to collocate within the Perth City fire station, providing the resource and resilience needed to deliver a fist class service. Through meticulous planning and testing both operational and installation teams have strived, with great success, to reach this milestone whilst minimising any impact on those who rely on the service.

Jacquie Pepper, Chief Officer Perth and Kinross Health and Social Care Partnership, said: “This is an amazing achievement for the team. The roll out of the digital alarm system goes a long way to achieving our ambition of delivering the very best care and support for people in Perth & Kinross.

This is a great example of using the most innovative digital technology to secure people’s independence in their own homes and everyone involved should be proud of this success.”

Digital Telecare will continue to work with Angus Health and Social Care Partnership as they progress towards the Gold Two Digital Telecare Implementation Award.
