Angus Health and Social Care Partnership Awarded Gold Level One Digital Telecare Implementation Award

Award. Digital Telecare. 29.11.2023

Digital Telecare for Scottish Local Government are delighted to confirm that Angus Health and Social Care Partnership have been awarded the Gold One Digital Telecare Implementation Award in recognition of the progress they have made on their analogue to digital transition.

To achieve Gold Level One status, a Telecare Service Provider will have rolled out a live digital telecare service to 20% of service users and have it operating successfully.

Angus Health & Social Care Partnership Community Alarm service has worked very well in planning, progressing, and implementing a robust operational process.  This has enabled them to move forward in the digital migration throughout the localities within Angus. This involved a great team effort and included low risk testing with support from their service users and staff, alongside high-risk testing, both have been successful with no concerns.

Lindsay Forman, Service Leader Older people services within Angus Health and Social Care Partnership, said: “We are delighted to have achieved the Gold Level One Implementation award. This is a fantastic achievement for the team who diligently planned and implemented the roll out of the digital service across some areas of Angus Council. We are committed to driving the best health and social care outcomes for the population of Angus by using the most innovative digital technology to benefit those who need it most.”

Tracey Abbott-Gray, Home Care Manager, and Andrea McGregor, Community Alarm Coordinator, said: “Achieving the Gold Level One implementation award has been a huge accomplishment and wouldn’t have been possible without the dedication and hard work of all team members. Angus Health and Social Care Partnership have successfully transitioned 40% of all alarms to digital and are fully committed to working towards the next award.”

Digital Telecare will continue to work with Angus Health and Social Care Partnership as they progress towards the Gold Two Digital Telecare Implementation Award.
