The TEC Programme and Digital Telecare for Scottish Local Government are hosting their next drop in session as part of the Digital Health and Care Learning Network Week.
Each year, the Scottish Government Technology Enabled Care team, at the Digital Health and Care Directorate, hosts the Digital Health and Care Learning Network day. This year, in place of the in-person event, there are a range of webinars taking place during the week 25-29 May 2020.
Our drop in session will take place on Thursday 28 May 12.30 – 13.30 and will focus on High Street Tech – should it be our business?
During the COVID-19 outbreak, a growing number of vulnerable older people, often with the help of family, are starting to use citizen technologies to support them to stay safe and connected. This session considers how this changing picture might influence how Telecare Services operate and includes presentations from Thomas Ozers, Digital Telecare and Gillian Fyfe from Alzheimer Scotland, who will talk about ADAM – About Digital and Me - the tool that is being developed to enable people to select the best technologies for them.
