We are delighted to announce that our brand new Technical and Security Pathway is now available within our Digital Telecare Playbook to support telecare service providers with their transition to digital telecare.
The Digital Telecare Technical and Security Pathway will provide guidance and support to telecare service providers looking to manoeuvre through the complexity surrounding the technical and security elements of the digital telecare transition.
The information will provide technical detail written in a manner that is able to be understood by non- technical management and staff. In turn this will facilitate informed discussions with digital telecare suppliers and help provide base knowledge for IT staff to allow them to understand the challenges inherent in the transformation from analogue to digital telecare.
As the Technical and Security pathway evolves, it will provide a wide range of guidance including: telephony network changes, a security accreditation scheme, a planning and implementation schedule, call blocking management guidance, scope for the technical pathway, procurement advice and a digital device testing pack. The documents and overall guidelines will allow for an informed decision for telecare service providers and will support their smooth digital transition.
