SFHA: ANALOGUE TO DIGITAL WEBINAR

SFHA: ANALOGUE TO DIGITAL WEBINAR

The Scottish Federation of Housing Associations (SFHA) is hosting a webinar on the analogue to digital switchover.

By 2025, the existing analogue Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN) will be decommissioned and replaced by a digital internet protocol (IP) service. This will have a significant impact on housing associations, local authorities and health and social care partnerships who provide telecare services / group living systems to tenants and customers - services they rely on in order to live independently at home.

It is essential that tenants and customers continue to be able to seek help in a reliable manner both during and post this transition period. As well as the many challenges that the switch over presents, it also offers a range of opportunities to provide new more customer centric service models as well as proactive, data driven approaches to services.

This webinar will feature our Business Relationship Manager David Brown and our Housing Transition Manager Craig O’Donnell. It will provide guidance on:

  • Digital telephony migration in Scotland and the UK;
  • Risks, impact and opportunities the switch over presents;
  • The Analogue to Digital Telecare Programme;
  • Experiences from Housing providers who are currently transitioning;
  • Service Redesign and innovation opportunities;
  • Plans for future engagement and collaboration with Housing providers.
This event will take place on Tuesday 30 March, 2pm – 4:15pm on Microsoft Teams.

It is open to telecare service providers and will be of interest to any housing provider (RSL or LA) who has an analogue group living / warden call system in any of it's properties. It will be of particular interest to those leading on the digital switchover, those responsible for strategic planning, delivery of Care and support, Asset Management , ICT and Tenant Engagement services.
