Digital Telecare for Scottish Local Government is delighted to announce our involvement in a successful application for the Digital Health Europe Funded Twinning Project that will focus on Digital Telecare.
Coordinated by the Scottish Government’s Digital Health and Care Directorate, this twinning project will facilitate focused knowledge exchange activities with our twinning partners; the University of Agder and Grimstad Kommune representing the Agder region of Norway and the Agency for Social Services and Dependency of Andalusia representing Andalucia, Spain.
The objective of the Digital Health Europe Twinning programme is to support the transfer of innovative good practice essential to the deployment of digitally enabled solutions for health and care. Naturally, our focus will be Digital Telecare, and by bringing relevant experts together to share good practice, practical tools and implementation guidance, we will create a range of materials to support the adoption of digital telecare across Europe, with a particular focus on citizen-centric services.
You can find out more about the purpose of the DHE Twinning Programme project on the Digital Health Europe website: Digital Health Europe Website, via the eHealth, Wellbeing & Ageing Newsletter and by viewing this helpful DHE Twinning animation.
Digital Health Europe has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement No. 826353.
